Reboiler
Industrial Reboilers are specialized heat exchangers that transfer thermal energy (heat) from the top of a distillation column down to the bottom. The reboiler is manufactured using either SS 316L or Hastelloy materials. This allows the reboilers to effectively vaporize the liquid stream(s) that flow into them, allowing for continuous "overhead" separation of the two phases (i.e., the vapor & liquid phases). The result is the most efficient use of both heat and mass in chemical, petrochemical and solvent recycling/recovery processes.
