The special design of the Corrugated Tube Heat Exchangers (CTHE) allows for enhanced thermal efficiency and minimizes fouling in the manufacturing processes of pharmaceuticals, chemicals and food. Because of the unique helical/sinusoidal corrugation of the tubes, CTHE creates sufficient turbulence within the fluids passing through them at very low flow rates to achieve a heat transfer coefficient 300% higher than a comparable smooth tube heat exchanger.
