Limpeted Reactor
The half-pipe coil provides a turbulence-inducing high-velocity flow for heating and cooling applications (e.g. steam, chilled water), and ensures that temperature distributions across the entire reactor are incredibly uniform.
Limpeted Reactors are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel 316L and Hastelloy materials; therefore, Limpeted Reactors have a higher level of structural integrity than fully jacketed reactors, but are also considerably lighter than the latter. As such, they can be used in high-pressure applications and as exothermic reaction vessels in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology, specialty chemical, and resin industries.
